SAINT-MICHAEL'S MOUNT

THE CITY OF CAEN

County town of lower Normandy and a city with a rich past, you will find at Caen many things to see. The famous memorial of Caen, which describe, among other things, the events of World War II, the Abbey of St-Etienne, as well as many museums, expositions, and also pubs, restaurants, commerces, etc. You should take a day to see it all.

Ancient fortified city, Argentan is renowned for its lace workshops. Several monuments should be visited, like la Maison des dentelles, le Château des Ducs, the Marguerite's tower and the Dunjeon, only remains of the old fortifications, as well as the churchs of Saint-Martin and Saint-Germain.

LE PIN NATIONAL STUD

Fondly called "Versailles for horses", Le Pin National Stud, located near of Argentan, is one of the jewels of the national stud farms is without doubt the most majestic of the many studs farms in the department of Orne, the country of horses. Le Pin National Stud is open to tourists who would like to visit these prestigious stables, and discover this monument founded in 1715 at the request of Louis XIV, which stretches over 1000 ha of greenery.
